Free tickets

العربية

Tickets are free. One ticket per person per event. At the gate, show your Civil ID card or the Mobile ID app open live on your phone; a screenshot is not accepted there.

Verify with your university email

Send one email from your university account. It takes a minute, and it proves you study there.

Verified with your university email at an earlier match? You don’t need to send one again — use “Get my ticket without sending” below.

An image of your Civil IDAny clear image of your Civil ID — a photo of the card or a scan — showing your name and Civil ID number; a screenshot from the Kuwait Mobile ID app is fine for this form.

Send the email first — this button unlocks when it arrives.

How KUC handles what you give on this form.

Your Civil ID image

Your browser makes the image smaller before sending it, which also removes its location data. To issue the ticket, KUC sends it to Anthropic, the AI service KUC uses, which reads the name and Civil ID number on it. KUC’s own rules, not the AI, decide whether a ticket is issued. KUC never stores the image: it exists only while your request is being checked.

Your student ID image (students-only events)

For an event for students only that checks the student ID, you also add an image of your student ID — a photo of the card, a scan, or a screenshot from your university’s app. Your browser makes it smaller first, and KUC sends it to Anthropic together with your Civil ID image. The AI reports what kind of card it is, the university’s name, the name on it, any academic year printed on it, and the dates printed on it with their labels (not your date of birth), so that KUC’s own rules can tell an expiry date from an issue date — not your student number. KUC’s own rules decide: it must be a student ID of the university you chose, show the same name as your Civil ID, and not have expired before the 2026–27 academic year. KUC never stores the image: it exists only while your request is being checked. Only the university you chose, and that your student ID was checked, are kept with your ticket.

Your university email (students-only events that ask for it)

For an event for students only that checks by university email, you give the email address your university gave you. KUC sends a 6-digit code to it through Resend, the email service KUC uses, from committee@kuc-portal.com; typing the code shows the mailbox is yours. Your email address is not sent to the AI. The code is kept only in a protected, one-way encoded form, works for 10 minutes, and is deleted within a day. KUC does not keep your email address: only the university you chose, and the address in a protected, one-way encoded form that stops a second ticket for the same address at the same event. If your university has no email set up with KUC, no email is asked, and staff check your student ID at the gate.

Your university email (events where you send us an email)

For an event for students only that checks by an email you send, you send one email from your university account to the address the form shows, with the code the form shows. KUC receives it through Resend, the email service KUC uses, and checks it: it must carry your university mail system’s digital signature (DKIM) for your university’s own domain, and the code must match. KUC reads only the sender’s address, the subject and the signature; it does not keep the email and does not send it to the AI. KUC does not keep your email address — only its domain and a protected, one-way encoded form of it, which stops a second ticket for the same address and stops one address verifying two people. Once your ticket is issued, KUC remembers that you are a verified student of that university — your name, the university, the last 4 digits of your Civil ID and your Civil ID number in protected form — until the end of the 2026–27 season, so you do not need to send an email again. Organizers can remove you from it at any time, and then you verify again.

The check that you are a person

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being used by a person, not an automated program. For this check Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser.

What KUC keeps, and for how long

Your name; for a students-only event, the university you chose, whether your student ID was checked, and your university email in a protected, one-way encoded form; the last 4 digits of your Civil ID; your Civil ID and mobile numbers in a protected, one-way encoded form that cannot be turned back into the numbers; the result of the check; and when it was used at the gate. All of it is deleted 3 days after the event, and the event keeps only counts. The encrypted nightly backups that hold it are deleted 14 days after that. If you verify by sending an email from your university account, KUC also keeps you on its list of verified students until the end of the season, as described above.

One ticket per person per event

The protected Civil ID record stops a second ticket for the same event. A parent or guardian may request a ticket for a child using the child’s own Civil ID, and may give the same mobile number for each ticket. Your mobile number is used only to find your ticket again if you lose it.

At the gate

Staff check the ticket against your Civil ID card or the Kuwait Mobile ID app open live on your phone. A screenshot, photo or printout of the app is not accepted at the gate. For a students-only event, staff also check your student ID: it must show the same name — unless you verified by sending an email from your university account, when staff check your Civil ID only.

The restricted list

If KUC restricts someone’s entry after an incident, it keeps their protected Civil ID record, name and the reason on a restricted list until the restriction is lifted or ends. The encrypted nightly backups that hold the entry are deleted 14 days after that. KUC also keeps a short log of each restriction and of its lifting or end: the last 4 digits of the Civil ID, the reason given, and who did it and when. Each line of the log is deleted 12 months after it was written, and from the encrypted backups 14 days after that. Someone on the restricted list may still receive a ticket, but is refused entry at the gate.
